Miss Ava

Ava has been dancing since she was 2 years old and is so excited to be a part of the Absolue family this year! Ava has trained over the last 15 years in various styles of dance including, ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, and hip hop. Ava also worked hard to successfully complete her ballet exams with the Royal Academy Of Dance (RAD) and recently completed her advanced one ballet exam. Ava also had the opportunity to be a part of many classes with dance educators from the RAD all over the world, as well as numerous classes with guest teachers across many styles. At the age of 8 she started dancing competitively and continued to dance competitively until she graduated High School. Being a part of the competitive dance team, Ava discovered her passion to perform, and her love for being a part of such a supportive community. Through her time as a competitive dancer she earned many overall awards, as well as special awards for her solos, duets/trios, and groups. This year Ava will be attending the University Of Western Ontario to study social science, specifically sociology. There are a lot of new starts for Ava this year and she is thrilled to be a member of the Absolute Dance community, to share her everlasting love for dance and inspire her new dance family!

Miss BRE

Miss Bre has been dancing since age four, training in ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary, lyrical and her favourite discipline, acro. Bre has dedicated many years to Absolute Dance as both a dancer and teacher. As a competitive dancer, Bre has received many special awards and overall awards for her groups, duets, trios and solos. She has completed examinations in various disciplines with the British Association of Teachers of Dancing (BATD), consistently receiving highly commended. Bre is an Acrobatic Arts certified teacher and is excited to bring this training and safe spotting techniques into her acro classes.
Bre has been teaching at Absolute Dance for the past 12 years. Her choreography has won multiple overalls, choreography awards, and special awards at competitions across Southern Ontario, including “Judge’s Choice”, “Serious Strength”, and “Perfectly Polished”. Bre’s passion for teaching stems from helping her students to achieve their goals and from seeing the growth in her students with each season.
Bre is currently working at St. Josephs Health Care London as a Registered Nurse.
Bre is thrilled to return to the Absolute Dance faculty and can’t wait to continue sharing her love for dance with her students. She hopes that her commitment and passion for teaching will inspire young dancers and motivate them for years to come.

Miss Deanna

Deanna has been teaching for 4 years and is entering her 18th year at Absolute Dance. She has trained in styles such as ballet, jazz, acro, contemporary, modern, and lyrical. Deanna has also completed her jazz and acro BATD examinations consistently receiving highly commended scores. 
Competing since the age of seven, Deanna has received various special awards, overalls, and scholarships for her dancing. Since beginning her teaching career, she has also received multiple choreography awards for her work. 
Deanna is currently attending Western University for a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, and will be graduating in 2023. Deanna has devoted her life to dance and this studio, and she couldn’t be more excited to continue sharing her passion with others!

Miss EVA

Miss Eva has been dancing since the age of 6 and has been a competitive dancer since the age of 9. She trained in jazz, acro, and ballet as well as in her favourite styles: lyrical and contemporary. Eva has also won many overalls and special awards with her Absolute family, including one named “Strength, Power, & Control” with her duet partner, after returning to the stage from knee surgery.
While being at Absolute Dance for the last 8 years, Eva has observed the teaching styles of our incredible teachers and hopes to pass down this same legacy of passion by teaching the next generation of dancers what it means to be a dancer. She wishes not only to help dancers improve their skills, but to understand how to simultaneously apply the life lessons learned through dance into all areas of their lives. Eva is eager to work together with the other teachers and dancers to create a fun, safe, and accepting studio for all!

Miss Hailey

Hailey has had the privilege of growing up at Absolute Dance, starting at age 6 and training in various styles, including acro, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, open, musical theatre, hip hop, and pointe. Her journey began in recreational dance, and she later joined the competitive team, where she’s been a part of award-winning groups and experienced the dedication and expertise of our wonderful teachers.

Through her years at Absolute Dance, Hailey’s developed a profound passion for dance and a deep appreciation for the impact our teachers have on their students. I'mShe’s eager to pay it forward, sharing her knowledge and enthusiasm with the next generation of dancers and inspiring them to find their own love for dance.

Miss Jenna

Miss Jenna attended a summer dance camp at the age of five and has been dedicated to the Absolute Dance studio ever since! Her diverse training includes ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop, gymnastics, cirque and her specialty, acro dance and tumbling. Jenna has showcased proficiency and skill in acro, jazz, and ballet earning high commendations from the British Association of Teachers of Dancing (BATD).
A natural performer, Jenna has graced various platforms, from live promotions for Ivivva to print and media campaigns within Middlesex county. As a competitive dancer she received accolades, scholarships and special awards for her stage presence and athleticism including her most treasured “Love’s to Dance and it Shows Award” in recognition for being the competitor whose passion for dance was evident in movements, expression, and attitude in all performances.
Jenna is dedicated to the mentorship and development of young dancers. In 2023 she was honoured with the Friends of Youth award from the Optimist Club for having a positive and lasting impact on the youth of this community. She’s committed to further improving her skills in child development through her Early Childhood Education studies at Fanshawe College.
Jenna is so excited to return as an instructor at Absolute dance. She grew up at this studio and cherishes the life lessons, mentoring and friendships she experienced here. She plans to make every step count by welcoming her students to the Absolute Dance family and by challenging them to develop and strengthen their skills and artistic expression in a safe and welcoming space. Jenna hopes to inspire a passion for dance and performing in the next generation of Absolute Dancers!

Miss Kilty

Kilty has been dancing for the last 15 years, and has been competing since the age of 8. After attending an Absolute Dance summer camp at age 6, she fell in love with dance and Absolute. She has trained in various disciplines including: jazz, acro, ballet, lyrical, contemporary, modern and musical theatre. She has won many awards, overalls and special awards competing over the years for her groups, solos, duets and trios. Including flexibility and partnership special awards. Kilty has also received numerous scholarships to conventions and workshops in her years of dancing. She has completed many levels of the British Association of Teachers of Dancing (BATD) examinations in jazz, acro and ballet, receiving highly commended.
Kilty assisted for 6 years at Absolute Dance and the YMCA of Komoka dance classes before receiving an offer to teach. She is currently going into her fifth year of teaching at Absolute Dance, in both the recreational and competitive programs. She has obtained her certification in Acrobatic Arts Module 1, which she uses to help dancers improve their technique for acro in a safe and fun way. Kilty has also taken contortion workshops through Acrobatic Arts. She ran the Absolute dance camps for a number of summers, and last year she had the camp director title.
Kilty is currently attending The University of Western Ontario, where she is studying to obtain a Bachelor of Arts, Majoring in History, and Double Minoring in Art History and Dance. She is also a dancer on one of the Western University dance teams: InMotion, where she has had the opportunity to compete her own choreography for her solo the last three years while being a part of the team. Her choreography has been showcased in the Western University dance minor show: Studies in Motion this past season. Over the last few years her choreography has received overall awards and special awards at competitions. In 2023 she had the opportunity to teach dance at an elementary school in London under the London Catholic School Board. Where she taught students grade 1 - 6 the basics of dance, as well as a routine for their schools Dancefest at the end of her session. 
Kilty is so excited to return to the Absolute dance faculty, to meet all her new dancers, and share her experience and love for dance with all her students for yet another season!


Miss Kyleigh

Hello Absolute! My name is Kyleigh Dobson, I am so excited to begin this new chapter here with you guys here at Absolute. My love for dance started at the age of 4 when I began competing myself. As a dancer I was always drawn to acro, so therefore after graduating from my hometown studio I decided to turn my passion into a career and got my NCCP level one certified in gymnastics Ontario. I began teaching at local studios from my hometown at the age of 18 and found a love for choreographing and building skills with my dancers. After completing my schooling in Early Childhood Education and landing a job here in London at Thames Valley District School Board, I knew I wanted to find a dance studio to continue my career and passion in dance/ choreographing. This now brings me here to Absolute! I am looking forward to join this team and getting to know each and every one of you! 

Miss Leah

Miss Leah has been dancing at Absolute dance since she was 7, began competing when she was 9 and has been a part of the Absolute family ever since. Leah's main focus was acro, and she also trained in styles such as jazz, ballet, lyrical, and contemporary. Leah has successfully completed many levels of BATD examinations in acro, jazz, and ballet.
Over the past five years Leah has volunteered as a teachers assistant in acro and jazz classes, assisted weekly sessions at cheerstrikes, and was a substitute dance teacher the previous dance season. During this time she has learned safe spotting techniques, how to develop a dancer's technique, and how to lead a dance class. 
Leah is currently attending Fanshawe College for electrical engineering, and will be graduating this year. Leah is an enthusiastic new dance instructor dedicated to creating a supportive and inclusive environment where dancers of all ages can thrive. Outside the studio she enjoys exploring new dance styles, and staying active in the dance community. 


Miss NICOLE

AISTD RAD TDIP RTS
Nicole Bachellier has studied dance for over 50 years and has been teaching Classical and Contemporary Ballet, Modern Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Modern, National Folk, Character, Natural Movement and Tap for 35+ years.Nicole also specializes in Pilates, Floor Barre and Body Conditioning/Stretch and Strength classes and has devoted considerable time to injury prevention, and physical rehabilitation. Nicole has been a fully registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) for 30+ years, holding both the Teachers Certificate, and the Teaching Diploma (Distinction on the Vocational Grades specialization). Nicole holds the Dance History Diploma obtained through the RAD and York University, and the Anatomy Diploma obtained through the RAD and Waterloo University in addition to Music Theory and Child Development.Nicole has also been a tutor and mentor for the RAD, assisting teacher trainees enrolled in the CBTS degree programs for 10+ years.
Nicole has spent many years studying music theory and instrumentation and incorporates that into her teachings. Nicole is also well versed in the ISTD Imperial Ballet, ISTD Cecchetti ballet and the Russian Vaganova training methods.
Nicole has been a registered teacher of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing(ISTD)(London, England) for 30+ years, where she received Distinction on all of the Vocational Modern Theatre,Jazz, National Folk and Associate examinations. Nicole has trained with many highly acclaimed teachers and international examiners in all disciplines and has successfully entered students into RAD/ISTD examinations.Her students have been accepted into various post secondary institutions and has been teaching, choreographing for competitions (winning overalls, special awards and choreography awards)as well as creating story ballets for her students for over 35 years and many of these dancers have also gone on to pursue successful teaching careers. Nicole continues with professional development and is proactive in researching injury prevention and rehabilitation and developing new techniques to meet the needs of her students and clients.
Nicole has worked with athletes, gymnasts, figure skaters, synchronized swimmers as
well as recreational, competitive and professional dancers from the ages 2 1/2 to adult. Nicole has owned and operated two very successful dance academies over the last 25 years and now operates a home studio as well as freelancing and guest teaching at various studios in Southern Ontario. Nicole is looking forward to sharing her passion for dance with everyone at Absolute Dance and cannot wait to meet all of the dancers and their families.


Miss Shaina

Shaina has been dancing for over 20 years training in various dance genres such as jazz, ballet, modern, hip hop, lyrical, and contemporary. Shaina has been a member of the Absolute Dance family for the past 18 years and will be beginning her 10th year of teaching at Absolute Dance for the upcoming 2023/24 season. Over the years as a competitive dancer, Shaina won numerous overall and special awards for her solos, duets/trios and groups. She also was a competing member of Western University’s varsity dance team while she attended school. Shaina has received several scholarships for dance conventions and workshops for locations such as Los Angeles, Toronto and New York. Over the last several years, Shaina has received many special and overall awards for her choreography as well as placing in one of our competition’s dance offs for both the 2021/22 & 2022/23 seasons. She has also completed her jazz examinations with the British Association of Teachers of Dancing (BATD) consistently receiving highly commended.
Shaina has worked with the YMCA of Komoka by providing dance instruction to the community. Here, she got to share her love for dance by teaching young children the fundamentals and basics of dance in ballet, jazz, and hip hop.
Shaina has recently obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Western University in London, Ontario. She is thrilled to continue teaching both recreational and competitive dancers at Absolute Dance and she can’t wait to share her passion for dance with everyone around her!

Miss VANESSA

Vanessa Huggins is a dancer, choreographer, artistic director in film, and educator in London Ontario and area. She incorporates education in Mental Health and Wellness with artists as she also works as a Housing Support Worker, and Life Coach in the community.
As a dancer, she dedicated most of her life committed to the art form. Vanessa is trained in various Latin styles such as Salsa and the Cha Cha. She also trained in Jazz, Hip hop, Musical Theatre, Lyrical, Contemporary, and Ballet. Vanessa has extensive training in the Royal Academy of Dance. Vanessa graduated from Oneill’s Academy of Dance under the artistic direction of Kim O’Neill Del Guercio, where she trained numerous hours a week with many sought out choreographers in the dance community. She competed for several years where she received many special awards and recognition's. She also completed a Cooperative Leadership Program at Lester B Pearson, School of the Arts, and choroegraphed and assisted theatre productions in highschool. She has been a part of a full-length show such as “Cinderella” at the O’Neill Academy of Dance under the instruction of Kim O’Neill Del Guercio, as well as smaller show castings in the London area.
Vanessa graduated from the University of Western where she obtained an Honours Specialization in Sociology. Vanessa has taught and choreographed for over ten years in Ontario. Recently, Vanessa created a Recreational and Competitive initiative in the London area, “Middlesex Dance Program.” Vanessa also choreographed, directed and recently premiered an Artistic Film Project, “Short Series.” This will incorporate Dance as an art form, acting, and storytelling.
Vanessa’s has a deep passion for dance, and is excited to share this love to inspire upcoming artists, and work with creators in the Industry.
